Almost all of TITAN Survival's SurvivorCord® parachute cord products contain an internal core braid of two white strands and one red strand.
This candy-cane striped braid is NOT a fire starter strand, or a fuse, but rather our unique Manufacturer's Marker ID.
Each of these strands is 100% Nylon and exceeds MIL-SPEC standards for strength and
durability.
The only exceptions to this rule are light colors like WHITE and YELLOW paracords, in which we replace the red with white so that the red doesn't show through the sheath.
We have found that most of the companies trying to sell fake versions of our patented SurvivorCord forget to use this red strand, and so we can detect fakes easily when we see them.
We also have a few other unique measures incorporated into our cordage, but the Manufacturer’s ID strand is the easiest to see.
